Crew Club of Oyster Bay 2007
Spring Season 2007
Any High School Student
interested in Rowing can join the Crew Club of Oyster Bay.
- No previous rowing experience needed.
- Season runs from March 5th to May 20th
- Practices are Monday - Friday starting at 3:45 sharp
and ending roughly 6:00 pm.
- Practices held at Beekman Beach in Oyster Bay
- Saturday Practice are arranged depending on the week
anytime from 7:00 am to Noon
- Saturdays may include necessary equipment maintenance
for extended hours TBA
- Practices continue during school breaks, times TBA
- Training focuses on competition. We compete as
“Sagamore.”
- Parents Meeting TBA sometime in the first or second
week usually after practice from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm

- Saturday
and Sunday, May 12th and 13th – NY State
Championships, Saratoga, NY
- Friday
and Saturday, May 18th-19th – Stotesbury Cup,
Philadelphia, PA (only scholastic crews and only top varsity crews)
- Sunday,
May 20th – Northeast Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships,
Worster, MA

This form needs to be filled out at the start of each season and given to
coach.
- USRowing Release of Liability
Form.
SRA needs a signed copy of the 2006 USRowing Release of Liability
Form.
- Sagamore Membership
Application Form and Code of Conduct Form:
All rowers
must fill out SRA Membership Application and SRA Code of
Conduct Form for the 2006 year. Links are below.

Association. “Building Long Island’s Rowing Tradition.” We have taught
