"After a full day of racing, Nicole Bielawski finished 15th out of 32 single sucllers at the Junior World Rowing Championships in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France. Nicole leaves this regatta with a personal best 2000 meter race on the water of 8:03.7. The experience gained during this week of racing was immense, which will become useful as she heads to Princeton University this Fall. We all look forward to hearing of Bielawski's collegiate success. Go Tigers!"

"In the women's single sculls, Nicole Bielawski (Old Westbury, N.Y.) finished third in the C final for a 15th-place finish overall. Bielawski clocked an 8:06.72 to finish behind Italy's Giada Colombo and Russia's Mayya Reznikova. Colombo won the race in a 7:59.25. Bielawski advanced to the C final with a second-place finish in her morning C/D semifinal, clocking an 8:07.97 to finish just behind Bulgaria's Toni Boteva. Boteva finished fifth in the C final."
